Our Approach
At Rattlesden Preschool, we believe in fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning in young minds. Our carefully designed programs and activities are aimed at nurturing each child's unique strengths and interests, laying a strong foundation for their future success.
Forest Sessions
Every Thursday afternoon from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm, we immerse our children in nature through our Forest Sessions. Set in the school’s beautiful forest area, children engage in a variety of nature-inspired activities, designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a deep connection to the natural world. Our aim is to foster a lifelong appreciation for the environment, encouraging exploration, teamwork, and learning in the great outdoors.
Please note, Thursday pick-up will be from the school at the end of the day.
At Rattlesden Preschool, we pride ourselves on being apart of the community. We take children out around the village, on nature walks, the Church, visits to the play park or make good use to the large meadow across the road.
We also join the school for many activities which include their harvest assemblies, spring welly walk, nativity shows, craft afternoons, or a play within the reception classroom.
