Mikayla
Manager, SENCO, Level 6 Working towards Early years teacher status.
"I joined Rattlesden preschool in 2015 as Deputy Manger. I have been working in childcare for 18 years, qualifying as level 3 from collage, I then went on to study a degree at uni, along side working and bringing up my family in 2013. I have 3 children.
I also have training in PECS, attention autism, using pictures for communication amongst other training.
I enjoy going out for meals and traveling. I like to relax watching tv at the end of the day!"

Preschool Deputy Manager, Safeguarding Lead, Level 3.
"I started working at Rattlesden preschool in 2015, as an apprentice. I qualified as a level 3 practitioner in 2017 and became deputy manager in 2021. All 3 of my own children have been through Rattlesden Preschool and I live in the village.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends."

"I joined Rattlesden preschool in 2022 and I studied level 2 childcare while working. I live in a neighboring village and also work at the five bells in Rattlesden at the weekend, where I know a lot of families in Rattlesden and surrounding villages.
I live with my 16 year old daughter and house rabbit Sage. I very much enjoy being in a rural setting connecting with nature with the children."

“I joined the committee in 2021 when my daughter was at preschool, which she absolutely loved. We will definitely be putting out young son into preschool too. I really enjoy being part of the committee- such a great team and together with the amazing staff, we’ve implemented real change. When I’m not working in TV production I love going on long walks and socialising with friends and family"

Besides helping at preschool, I am also involved in the village Baptist Church, where my husband is the pastor. I love painting, baking and working in the garden"
